Longworth secures two new contracts for 2018
Breaking News…Longworth continue in their rich vein of form for the end of 2017 by securing two new contracts for early 2018. Port Street in Manchester for Bardsley Construction and Kings College School for Barnes Construction.
The Port Street project is located in the Great Ancoats area of Manchester which is benefiting from strong investment and a flurry of new construction projects. Bardsley Construction have appointed Longworth to design and install the Booth Muirie rainscreen cladding, parapet copings and soffits. Works are due to commence in January 2018.
Longworth are delighted to be working with Bardsley Construction again, continuing their excellent working relationship which has seen them complete projects together at Matilda Street in Sheffield and Huddersfield University recently.
The team at Longworth are eager to get started on this one with a contract value of £300,000. Watch this space for progress shots!
Kings College School, Cambridge
Danny Nelson, appointed as Traditional Roofing Manager earlier in 2017, is maintaining his excellent start at Longworth by securing his sixth new contract in as many months. A flying start if there ever was one. Danny’s latest project is a new sports hall for Kings College School in Cambridge for Barnes Construction. Longworth have been appointed by Barnes Construction for the supply and installation of VM Quartz plus zinc standing seam roofing to Admaster composite carrier panel, Parklex rainscreen cladding and single ply membrane roofing.
Works are due to commence in February 2018 with a contract value of £400,000
